Re: Charlie's thread
That Sputnik has moved!
He is so distracted that the Sputnik has moved he hasn't noticed his tail is sticking out through the bars - or maybe he was just sticking his bum out at me in disapproval.
This is quite a balancing act but I need to get to that nut
This sputnik is still in the same place and I've found broccoli in it

Re: Charlie's thread
Out onto my bench, next stop water bottle, then check that lava ledge
Time for a little drink (why he bends sideways to drink from that bottle when he has another one at a better height I don't know).
Ooh I've found a raisin (forgotten about the mysterious moving Sputnik now his taste buds are in action)
No more photos - the next one was a blur as he shot back to his house after filling his pouches from the food bowl.

Re: Charlie's thread
That's definitely a dissaproving bum - how dare you try and make his life a little easier But goodness how could you not love that little butt!

Re: Charlie's thread
Lol! I think you're right Ruby! No eye contact. Yes he does look sweet in that little sputnik. He does fit in it but can't move when he's in it really. It probably isn't the best place to put his veg as he has to climb in and virtually sit on it to get it, but he seems to manage sitting in there and eating it! The large Sputnik is now in a much better place - accessible from both the door and the shelf but he is clearly not happy about it moving and inch to the right! Gave him some porridge this morning to make up for it.

Re: Charlie's thread
Yes - the small blue one came with his old cage - that's supposed to be hamster sized but most people get rat sized ones for Syrians (the pink one is the rat sized one). I'd rather have two rat sized ones, but he's used to the small one as a veg bowl
You can just see the blue on back right on this photo

Re: Charlie's thread
Now now Charlie, it was only a little move of the Sputnik. Hope he likes the change once he is used to it!
