Evening everyone. Its been just over a week now since Jocardi left us. I still miss her so much...and i suspect I always shall. But...Lily and I have been looking back through old pics tonight...without too many tears.
I wanted to share these pics with you...taken just two days before she passed. She looked so happy and healthy wrestling with the remnants of her Xmas bauble!!

Lovely photos! Was that one of those pumpkin baubles? I got Charlie one and he wouldn't touch it ha ha. It just sat there. He is so picky. Hope you and Lily are doing ok x

Yes it was Serendipity! Jocci enjoyed hers. It was hanging up in her cage and she liked attacking it there too!
Lily and I are doing great ok ta. Still having our moments tho. XX

Lovely photos of her enjoying life right up until the end bless her, such a lovely girl & so many beautiful memories.
It's easy to see how much she liked that pumpkin bauble, mine were like Charlie & they got ignored too lol!

Had a tearful afternoon...finally got around to sorting all Jocardi's things and disinfect all the cage. So much stuff for such a little creature. I number of things I had to throw away, but lots are perfectly ok so I've packed them up. One day...I'm sure we will be ready to welcome a new furbaby into our home....but not just yet. I'm still grieving our little girl xx

So sorry - hugs. It's a hard thing to do. Put them all away out of sight for a while maybe until you need them again. It will be easier to move on to the next stage of grief now. She will always be with you x

It's still early days, give yourself time but I'm sure she would be happy to see you giving another fur baby a loving home one day.

Been reviewing the thread and it is wonderful that she was so loved. A very special ham indeed. RIP Lady.
That new fluffball may appear when you are not expecting it so keep an open mind.
