Excellent video. Time to put out traps like in the video. Many a hamster doesn't stray too far from the room they are in. Given how big most rooms are to a hamster. And a reason to keep doors where hams are living in, closed.
You should consider walking the 'ratty shuffle' too. Named by rat owners with escaped rats, walk by sliding your feet, not taking steps. Shuffle walk. Which may feel stupid but too many stories out there about people clomping about the house and end up stepping on a hamster?
Leaving their open cage at floor level, in case the smell of home and food and nest makes them just get back to their cage.
Some rodents do disappear for hours, days, or longer. So don't think if you don't find him/her in a few hours its all over. Hamsters are pretty willfull beasties....
If you haven't caught sight of the escaped hammy yet, time to make the traps and keep your eyes peeled.
