2 new fluffs!
So, I made another rescue - this time a 16week old Syrian - I assume she is mink...? correct me if I'm wrong. Her name is Honey, and she is a pretty chunky girl Basically her story so far is that she was gotten as a child's birthday present, the child became disinterested after a while and the parents decided a better home was needed - so fed up of hearing that story...
As I was in Pets at Home collecting supplies for Honey, I spotted...
Humfry, the TINIER THAN BENNY LH male Syrian I weighed him, he's 56g. He is a Pets at Home hammy. I couldn't resist his fluffys. He is tiny tiny. I saw him with his litter mates - he was from the back of the store, and he was definitely the smallest out of the litter. Another runt like Benny possibly is.
They are settling in well, and don't mind the P@H box Honey is standing on :P if you notice it's quite well chewed, it's been kept as a playbox. The hams love to run through etc and I always find due to the breathing holes they're a great box to put in a cage as a hideyhole for hams settling in
Honey and Humfry are pleased to say hi - and yeh, I have a serious hamster/rodent problem... I know... - I'm not even going to attempt to say these are/were the last two.... I know for a fact that they won't be.... :P

Both are sooooo cute! Adorable new additions.
Honey looks silver to me.

Re: 2 new fluffs!
They're both absolutely adorable! How lucky they are to have a hamster mommy like you. I would probably have more than one hamster if I had the space/money for them.. maybe in a couple of years I'll have the chance to have more little fluffs in my home but for now, Daisy will do!

Re: 2 new fluffs!
her face is a kind of cream colour, but her body, has the black/dark grey "ticking" on, making her body look darker...

Re: 2 new fluffs!
humfry is black dominant spot - if I didn't hear polywhite was not in the UK, I'd think that.
Honey looks silver grey sepia to me. Mink is a self, which means the entire body is one colour, save two eye rings.

I can get better pictures if you need them Hekomi
Would a better pic of Honey help? I added a better one of little Humfry.
Humfy is mostly white, with dark grey patches - they look dark grey, but it might be because his LH is causing it to look lighter... he is also red eyed.
Honey is the oddest I've ever seen, she's really pretty in her colouring! and he eyes - as the pic shows - are black and they appear to flash back with purple
I thought black dom spot was more like Benny, where the black spot covers a LOT of the hammy? to me he looks mostly white - I'm not very good with these things though so, I'm likely to be wrong >.< not questioning your knowledge, just making sure. I looked up polywhite and I can see why you would say he would be that if you'd heard it wasn't in the UK.
lol Humfry (human user :P ) I'm sure your Humfry is feeling rather chuffed with himself having passed on a name to a baby hammy

Re: 2 new fluffs!
They are both just gorgeous! Congrats on your new fluffs! x
Wow... what a strange colour...
Is that last pic of Humfry? It looks so odd. When you said grey with red eyes I was going to suggest Dove, but the grey looks too dark. And from the pic, it looks as if he has areas of light grey with darker patches - am I seeing that right or is it just the light? xD It looks like he has three shades going on!
