Poppet on Holiday (More Pics)

Poppet has come to stay for a week and so far is being spoilt rotten! A new shelf, inherited a load of Puzzle Playground, food and treats. Trying to work on her nerves now, as even though she's really tame and will walk onto your hand to come out no problem, you can feel her shaking sometimes. So far it's not really working too well!

Thanks! It's getting better now. Last night after I got her out and went to do something else I returned into the room and she bolted to the cage door with that 'cute' look. I think the main problem is that during taming she's been allowed to go on the floor with little restrictions, so she doesn't understand why I stop her from going on the floor here (and she becomes disinterested in humans as the wide world is much more interesting!).

I managed to finally keep her from running away by letting her run and hang from arm to arm - think I need to grow a few more though as she's so quick.

She's now tame enough to be able to go to a show next month, going to enter her as a pet, although she is quite big for a pet shop ham - 185g and still seems to be growing at 4 months albeit only a little.

I can't believe how dopey she's gotten. You can lift her blue igloo up and tickle her belly without her minding. Yet the minute you get her out or hold her she's as mad as a hatter!
