Re: Stumpy :)
They can be tiny friends, lol.
Vet school sounds awesome! I don't have the maths for it, my brain can't work in that way. I like languages though and I loved biology. Are you going to try to focus on smaller animals then for the hamsters?

Re: Stumpy :)
Yes, aww!
It's vet nursing I'm doing (4 year course), I would have LOVED to be a vet, but didn't have the grades! I love all animals, but I am a huge dog person! We only have one ourselves (because my dad is not an animal person at all lol!) But I look forward to having my own dogs one day I will be very interested in the small animal field though, who knows

Re: Stumpy :)
Stumpy is beautiful no matter his size. My Ted E. is a small Golden, half the size of Nutmeggie. Everytime I pick Nutmeggie up I am floored by how big she is. Although Ted is small, he is pefect, just like Stumpy.

Re: Stumpy :)
Amy, I'm about to post a few pics of Molly on the blog. She sure is large, she feels like a little barrel when I pick her up! Adorable though - she's much more active than Pippin so playing with her is a proper workout because she want to get into everything

DrKMcK - yes, they're still as lovely even if rather small!
Corrie - Ooh good, I'll find the links on one of your threads and aww she is adorable! But yes stumpy is also very active! Despite having a leg missing lol!

Re: Stumpy :)
He is truly adorable and I know when I have had an animal that had defects like this that it makes you love them even more knowing they cope so well with it. I was getting a guinea pig from a breeder and it was suspected he was blind and it made me want him more!

Re: Stumpy :)
Thank you!
And yes he has adapted very well, he really doesn't act any differently to any other 4 legged ham! (apart from he can't climb the bars)
And hehe, he is very cute!

Re: Stumpy :)
He's adorable! Molly is still being a little madam, she has got the most frustrating habits sometimes...and doing ALL of Stumpy's climbing for him!!
