Thank you all!  She's getting more and more tame but we're trying not to bug her since if she is pregnant we're almost at pup time. We'll know for sure next week.
But I noticed she was out and about this morning and got some quick photos on my phone. This one is my favourite:

The photos of her sleepy nomming and pouching the water bottle spout are amazing. These are really great shots. Java is waaayyy photogenic!

Hi Hekomi. Those photos of Java are so cute. How long have you had her now? The gestation period for Syrians is 16 days, so if you were going to have any little surprises they should be due very soon!

I hadn't done the math but au was wondering that too. Like within 3 days at the most if she mated on the same day she was picked up then, right? She was picked up on the 22nd?

Yep we should know soon. She's still stocky and she's been nesting like crazy. Hoping she's not but we will find out soon. I laughed so hard when she pouched the water bottle. I'm not taking her out right now but she doesn't look quite pear shaped. Hoping that means nothing, but SO is still convinced.

16 days is the normal time for Syrians, but it is not unheard of for them to go a day or two past that. Just throwing that out there

Yeah I believe I have the ninth or tenth marked down as 'safe day'. Luckily she's getting more tame and my SO had her out exploring the couch and blankets while I watched. She's not super attached to me in the same way my boys are which is good. They've been visibly upset over me not playing with them the past week and scramble for my attention. SO plays with them but they try to make a mad dash to me across the couch. Nice to know I'm loved lol!
