Leo my long haired...and friends aka new hams on the block
well after posting a couple of weeks ago ive finally got no doubt that hes longhaired. kept alot of the babies out of my last few litters so concentrating on enjoying them for a good while before theres anymore
so heres some pics of them finally...better late than never i guess lol
first litter they are allstaying...these guys are much more than a litter to me they are descended from my first breeding and remind me of their family a few of which ive sadly lost
Leo (my gorgeous little fuzzle) hes such a genetic throwback but hes gorgeous and really soft and his fur seems to be getting really nice too
Emmy.. the spit of her uncle (nemmy) who i gave to my bf and is one of the most spoilt hamsters ever lol)
Fudge- spit of his dad who i sadly no longer have
Missy.Gorgeous cheeky little cream girl
Rocky spit of his grandad and late uncle
Roxelle- same markings as her aunt and sable like her nanny scam who sadly died recently
Theres another sable banded in this litter Oreo but for some reason i have no pics of him ..must get some..he looks alot like roxelle though lol
other keepers are my two gold carrying black and cinnamons which have gorgeous markings ...look like they are wearing eyeliner
Diablo took him a while to pose he was too busy trying to lick my thumb silly boy. named so cos he was born 6th of the 6th and there were 6 to start with
Siouxsie..named so cos she looks like shes wearing eyeliner...Diablo's sister..very pretty girly
and last but no means least
Nelson JR. he is big half brother of the first litter (have same dad) and uncle of siouxie and diablo..he looks like his dadcept his dad was cream banded and he is a ghost yellow banded but he has one eye and is similar to his dad who died so he got named after him for those reasons.dosent let only having one eye bother him one bit bless him

You have a lovely collection of hammies! It's fascinating to hear the background around them too. Hope they give you lots of joy and look forward to seeing some pictures of Oreo.

Aww your hams are gorgeous! We also had a Nelson ~ he was a BEC, father to our second litter and my first ever show hamster.

No wonder you kept so many ami-j they are such a gorgeous bunch and such lovely colours. Leo is stunning and he rather looks like a fluffy lion. Great pics.

His coat should be at his best when he is fully mature at 6 months or so and stay that way till he starts to age but LH males coats seems to come and go depending on the season and moult stage and hormonal activity.
