Daniellabella, I can't help you with the mini-Duna question because I live in the US & I'm not sure what the size is off the top of my head. I'm sure it would be fine as a temporary short term.
I did want to ask you about your IKEA Billy cage. Is it like the one pictured below or is it a whole Billy bookcase?
If it is like the one pictured here, please think about adding on space for your new little friend. The RSPCA recommended space for a Syrian is 75cm x 40cm = 3,000 sq cm. The Billy above is only 80cm x 20cm = 1,600 sq cm. I keep my Chinese hamster in the above Billy. She would be in a much larger cage, but I am still trying to tame her and she is very nervous about open space & prefers a smaller cage. I would not keep my Syrian, Darwin, in it unless it was connected to something larger. Just something to think about
