Default Hi I'm Biscuit :)

This is Biscuit.

She is approx 6 months old. I saw her in P@H in the adoption section and managed to tear myself away from her. (those descriptions that they put on those cages make me want to cry!) two weeks later I'm in there again and she's still there. I knew right then I had to take her home! I don't think my OH was very impressed to find a new furry in our house but I've promised him no more!
I've had Biscuit for a week and taming is slow going as she really isn't very food orientated at all but we'll keep going! Any tips for taming without food will be very much appreciated!

I need to take some more photos! I never seem to have my phone on me when they're doing something cute!

Biscuit is gorgeous! You could try the bath technique. Have the bath clean and dry, put down a towel on the bottom and sit in the bath with Biscuit, that way she can explore you at her own pace without the risk of running away

Thats such a good idea! I'm always so worried that she'll get spooked and jump off my hand but this way if she does she wont hurt herself! Thank you I'll be trying this tonight!

You're welcome It does help with the nervous hammies, if you handle her low to the bottom of the bath she won't hurt herself if she jumps off your hands and she can climb on you as she pleases, let us know how you get on with her

the best idea is the bath technique, but you might want to put a little house or hut, so that she can hide in it if she gets really scared.
