Creme Egg & Topic Smarterone @ nearly 11 weeks

My Smarterone boys are now nearly 11weeks old so I thought it was time for a couple of new piccies to show how they've grown.

First up is Creme Egg, the LH REC who's quite a lazy boy and has piled on the grams the past few weeks - he now weighs in at 183g and will be making his show debut on Saturday at Todmorden on his 11 week birthday. He already has a girlfriend - Spud's Mum's Tilly - so they'll hopefully have lots of REC babies in due course!



This is Creme Egg's brother Topic who is a LH BEC - he's seriously friendly but he hasn't piled on the weight as he's a bit of a wheel addict ( he's a small but perfectly formed 147g) so I'm leaving his show debut for a few more weeks. I found my Carapaw Creams quite slow to mature and reach their show best so it's par for the course really.


I can't believe they are so grown up already!

Tilly is coming to the show on Saturday too - so I guess there is a chance they will get to meet in next door show pens! Eggy is serioulsy gorgeous, and this sounds strange - but he has a face just like Dubaku - so I am looking forward to some very nicely typed offspring for us to fight over! (joking of course).

I just hope Tilly doesnt get stuck between the bars of her show pen in her eagerness to do some petting with Creme Egg!

Ive also entered Flymo Holly, he is about the same weight as topic - I thought - what the hey!

How exciting that we'll be seeing Tilly too - can't wait (what age is she? Not that I'm desperate for more babies or anything :P ). I would have brought Topic - my big problem was not enough show pens so I had to make a decision before we went away and Creme Egg got my vote on size and red-eyed ness!

She is 7 1/2 weeks Holly - and is 181g!

Oh she is gorgeous! What lovely big babies we shall have - lots of REC I hope so there'll be just what both of us want in there somewhere

I agree with you about five being the magic number for a litter - I thought Creme Egg was big until I compared the Minimars to him at the same age - they are all a lot bigger than he was at five weeks (my Sable boy is over 30g bigger) and I know Tilly's a fiver as well. I wish all my litters could have five babes in them!

When were you thinking of breeding her? (Do I sound desperate? I hope not ).

Well maybe in just over 7 or 8 weeks if she is big and healthy enough (Im thinking she will do) but we can maybe talk about possibilities on Saturday? We could then coordinate everything *excited squeal*

I think there are going to be some lovely babies if it all pans out!
