Default How rare

How rare are Tortoiseshells? I would love one, but are they that hard to get hold of.

They are not that rare. Remember there are quite a few types of tort colour such as Golden tort, black tort, chocolate tort, cinnamon tort, dove tort. All can be combined with a white pattern to get Tort and whites. It's very much a case of looking out for litters with torts and asking to reserve really.

I might have some golden torts, possibly dark grey or cinnamon torts in my next litter which would be ready for homes around the end of november.
I am moving soon so the litter will be after the move.

I will be putting up a thread here when the litter is in the nest and photos when they are old enough, if you are interested in any pop me a pm
I wish you luck on your search for a tortie

Yeah you can find them in pet shops. I sold one just the other day!

My Chino was a beautiful black tortoiseshell and white, and her daughter was just as adorable! I loved that ham, would definitely have another. I see quite a lot of chocolate torts and occasionally a dove tort.
