Default More active

Are boys or girls more active? I've got 2girls and 1 boy. My little boy Teddy is so much more active than the girls.

I've only had male syrians. I've four at the moment. Some of mine are more active than others. My 17 month rat-hamster is more active than all the others put together.

I think the opinion is that males are more laid back than females. I've got one laid back (Hamish) and one active (Sherlock) so I dunno. I think personalities plays into it more than sex.

Among rodents I've found in general that males do tend to be more laid back than females, though evel_lin is right that personality comes into it too. It might be more true for me to say that my females have all been more intense than the males, if that makes any sense.

1 have a male russian (campbell/hybrid) and female russian (ww/hybrid). My male(huxley) is much calmer than my female (essy), even though he is new to here, his previous owner said he was also very calm, whereas my female reminds me of a puppy some times . They are both more hyper at like 2am where it is seriously like they both have ADHD and they will only stay at something for a few seconds before running around and onto other thing.

I have a really laidback Hamish too! He's also particularly sleepy, I don't think he's ever awake until I go to sleep!!!
