Does anyone know how fluffy he is likely to get? He had a pretty snazzy bum-skirt when I got him (these pics are about 10 days old), but its now kinda fizzled out and instead he has long bits on his waist! Im pretty sure he'll never be VERY long haired, but its interesting how his coat has changed, seemingly overnight!
with the hair length, it's likely to keep changing throughout his life. Harvey has had many and varied hair styles! first he had a skirt, then that fell out and he grew an odd poncho round his soulders and then he grew long hair everywhere!
He's very cute - I love the pic of him with his tongue out! As Bunsey says, skirt length in syrian males can vary tremendously, and some who start off with very promising coats never seem to reach their potential whilst others just end up looking like Dougal from the Magic Roundabout

As the others have said their coats do vary and they will rub their coats off on the wheel, in tubes etc.
You can trim his skirt if it gets too long.
