Photos of the new rescues!! what colour is one??

Ok, here is the first one, which is TAKEN. All shall be revealed by the new owner after Bath. The new owner wants to wait til they have him there and then make an introduction to you guys

As you can see, it is a male SH black, looks like a very small runt, perhaps 3 months old.

The next one is called Colin and i really want him. Mum wants me to re-home him. Who will win? we'll see.

I think he is either an umbrous honey satin banded OR an umbrous cinnamon satin banded. I think probably not the latter. Also could be some kind of yellow in him, but i think prob not. I think the umbrous honey satin is the one i'm putting my money on. It's defo umbrous and satin something anyway!

They are lovely, Colin looks like he might be a Cinnie Banded. I'm no good at colours but he's mighty cute. The little black one is very sweet, he looks tiny, very small for a Syrian. I think your mum should just give in and accept that you have a Hamster Magnet and it's not your fault that they get drawn to you. Hey Bunsey's Mum - Let Colin come live with you???? Pretty Please???

and... the cages they lived in. This is after i tipped out heaps and heaps of poos and scraped up heaps of pee-soaked bedding. they looked like they hadn't been cleaned out for about a month.

Colin's - ferplast starter cage with wheel he had to arch his back in. Zero toys

Blacky's - Mouse starter cage (yes it says mouse on) that he could only just stand up in if his head touched the roof. A wheel that didn't turn and again no toys.

What gorgeous guys you have there! I would be way to tempted to keep them both

Cant believe the state of those cages they were kept in, what a mess. At least they are in good hands now and have plenty of room, toys and most of all love and attention

Very interesting colour - but I haven't a clue!!
I have rummaged in my archives for an umbrous honey pic - this was Roo who died a few weeks ago at almost 3.



I know she was longhaired and not satin but it doesn't look very similar though does it?

oh, i was thinking it did look similar

It can't be cinnie cos the eyes are black. the ears are a sort of gingery, rather than pale (can't say flesh )

does anyone have more pics of umbrous honeys, umbrous cinnies etc.?

Roo had definite ticking, rather like a melanistic yellow but in honey - I can't see ticking on Colin.

well honeys have red eyes too dont they? is it possible hes a copper or rust?

They're both gorgeous! i was told that cinny eyes can be very dark red so look almost black, but he definitely looks a lot like my Stewie who is cinny banded, but i'm no expert on colours!
