Introducing Judy Garland..

Some of you witnessed me buying my lovely little Tristar SH sable roan girl at Blenheim....its take me since then to find the right name for her.

Tyra on the sales table thought I should call her "Flight" as she flew through the air when she tried to pick her up (she does make the untamest robo seem pretty lethargic at times!) and she's been flying for the last two weeks. I wanted to combine the flying theme with something showbizzy as she put on one heck of an "all-singing all-dancing-look at me" buy me-show to get my attention that day (while the rest of her littermates just snoozed).

So, finally...Judy Garland it is...she sings, she dances....and she sang "Fly me to the moon".

ahhhh pretty pretty girl. I was just looking at my satin sable roan tonight (the younger one, Amelie) and thinking how sweet sable roans are. I love the name too (and the rainbow pegs in her climbing frame means she can climb 'over the rainbow' lol)

She seems more interesting in chewing her way to the rainbow at the moment. If there's a pot of gold at the end, there definitely won't be any left when Judy Garland's finished eating it!

I don't know if I should show her or not....what do you think? I haven't entered her into Andover because she's been wild until tonight (the taming's finally working) but I still have time....

I think she's utterly gorgeous and love her name, it takes me ages to think of names sometimes but other times they seem to bring names with them
