Hi all

Thought id better introduce my 2 managed to get a couple of pics on them today when i was cleaning out there cages

Star she is about 7 weeks old got her last Sat,she is settling in well have managed to stroke her and shes now coming over to the bars of her cage when we go over to her and takes food from our hands,shes so teeny tiny




Here is Harry he is about 9 weeks old,he is a friendly boy always come over to get food off you,only managed to get one decent photo of him as the rest were blurry

What cuties! I don't think I've ever seen a ham with Star's colouring - she is lovely.

I think Star is a sable roan Noodles - a very light one - although with that little nose 'blaze' she could also have dominant spot in there too.

Although I think I heard recently that for some reason you cant get sable dominant spots - so Im not sure.
She is lovely thought isnt she?

And Harry is a mink banded longhair, he's very cute too of course

Oh yes she is such a pretty girl! I meant I hadn't seen one like her in a good way - I hope I made that clear? It's been a long day so apologies if not!!

I see what you mean about roan now I look really closely but I thought she was a dominant spot grey (is there such a thing? ) - as someone has a black D.S that I thought looked similar (only well black and white!!) well whatever colour she is, I love her!! The picture of her eating the seed stick is ace btw.

Harry is cute too - sounds like he has a lovely little personality.

If I make it to Andover, I will have to get that book you all have on genetics and colours and things!!

The blaze is not uncommon on roans, especially lightly marked ones like Star.
You can get grey dom spots (I have one now!!) but she is definitely a sable roan.
