New Babies
Reese, daughter of Bailey and Smurf gave birth to her 1st litter 22/5/08. All 3 BEC's are doing well, very chunky and opened their eyes tonight. Was surprised at the small litter but father Louis always seems to produce small amounts of offspring for some reason - his last outing resulted in 3 as well I'll see if a trend emerges next time when he meets Bailey....
Hopefully will have some open eyed pics to share tomorrow, just thought I'd announce my new additions, I can't come up with any of these merged names for the litter - ReeLou's? Nah! Help!

Congrats to Reece. Sometimes it's nice to have a small litter. Easier to find nice homes for too. How about the Loueeces Looking forward to meeting them.

Re: New Babies
How about the Loreecs? Can't wait to see pics, I am sure that it will be a lot less strain on Mum to raise three pups!

Re: New Babies
Hi Spacemonkey a small litter definatly better. My SH white banded tort only had 4 babies 3 girls 2 boys, 2 which went to friends and the other 2 went kept small litters so much easier to handle too. Aww BEC's so cute I love that colour. Congrats to mum too.

Re: New Babies
Awww they are darling, SM and I am thinking of moving in to a hamster cage near you soon, looking at that veritable 'feast' you gave them there (you did say there were four and not fourty???? )
You must be very proud of them, having just raised a BEC litter myself, I have to say those cream babies are so adorable aren't they?

Re: New Babies
I do tend to go a bit gooey about creams, there have been many oooh's and ahhh's over the past few days
And you are quite welcome to come live in my newly vacant cage, one of the new years day babies went to his new home today so I have a space, maybe I'll have to keep one of these babies... hmmm :P
