He's blushing. Cupcake has made him blush.
(Actually he's sleeping but shhhhh....)
I'm very happy to have him. He came out a bit last night, with the aid of a box. He crawled on my lap a lot and he was totally fine with being stroked. He didn't love my hands though yet so we will work on that!

Chester came out for some handling time tonight. I think it went pretty well.
I used a box to lift him out of the cage. He crawled all over me very willingly... Even got as high as my chest at one point. I let him explore my lap and my bed and he had no problem being stroked. (He is sooooo soft!) He was a bit timid about my hands at first but eventually walked over them and allowed me to make a tunnel for him. He tunneled through my hands for a couple minutes before I rewarded him with a treat and put him back in his cage.
Baby steps.
