Default Introducing Dracula

I picked up Dracula off Basia at Blenheim (thanks Basia - I will take real good care of her). She is going to have issues as I keep calling her 'he'. The problem is that I wanted a black and Basia said she had one for me. The name Dracula just stuck in my head and the fact that she is a girl didn't seem to matter in the least. It is quite apt as she seems determined to draw blood.
She is a SH black satin. She is a bit jumpy still but she is only 7 weeks. She is my first very own hamster and here she is. Just click on the pictures to make them bigger:

She is a beauty and it will be lovely to follow her progress as we have done since she was born I think all new hamsters are a bit jumpy when they move to their new home. It must be stressful going in a car, then a show, then a new cage etc but she will settle very quickly now she is home.

You were tempting fate calling her Dracula!
I'm really glad she went to you, I know she is going to have a lovely home.

She is his, so he gets to name her, but I don't think she likes it .

She hasn't even attempted to nibble me, so I think she is just trying to prove a point to HW...'Call me Dracula, and I will act like one!'

She is a beauty though, and I can't wait to watch her grow up. Shame HW doesn't want to let her have any babies.

Ooops, it didn't work talking him out of it then Loubs?

She is absolutely beautiful HW, but if you name a gorgeous little girl after a vampire then you're just asking for trouble!!

I've been waiting for this introduction since meeting this beauty yesterday.

She is really gorgeous - how can you call something this pretty Dracula? I guess we all have the pleasure of naming our hammies, so Dracula it is - just try not to be too surprised when she lives up to her name.

HW - I'm sure she'll settle down into her home and her name, look forward to watching her grow up.
