How do my terriers like him? They don't get an opportunity full stop LOL!! Terriers and small furries don't mix and they are always kept separate. We have to transport Patrick in his carrier upstairs, shut the stair gate to keep the dogs out. We always do it in two's as one can keep guard so to speak. We let everyone know when he's out so no one opens it accidentally.

I know terriers don't like small furries. I understand how you do it now, with great care.
When I lived at home and had hamsters, one dog hated my hamster, the other one loved her, used to push the ball around with his nose. He was very gentle. Never hurt my hamster.

Aww that's sweet, bless. I haven't even let my two dogs see the hamster as I don't want to rouse their interest further hehe. I have a cat aswell who is nearly 19 but he is so old and doddery all he wants to do is sleep in his bed, hasn't got time for anything else!

You doing right thing not letting the dogs see him. Terrier hunt little things lol.
Our dog was a sheltie. So bit different.

Thats the same in my house Lola and patrick are around the same age and I have 2 dogs and a cat lol we also use stair gates to keep the dogs away and Lola safe lol

Wow, terriers. That's a little scary. My sister has a Cairn/Austrailian terrier mix who is total death on small critters. i could never take my furries there. But my Chihuahua, Yoda, loves the rodents and will go right up to them. If they escape he lets me know where they are, from the safety of my bed
