I don't think I'll ever get over the improvement in this little guys life. I truely didn't think it was possible for him to recover like he did. There have been such dramatic rescues on HC and they do so well when someone steps in, saves them and loves them. He's just beautiful and even more so every time I see him. Between him and Kiki's Smudge, they are perfect advertisements for people to rescue hammies.

I can't get over it either- i feel a bit of podge on him now.. i'm so happy!
He's a little miracle oh yes - i would definitely advise rescuing. 5 of my current hamsters are rescues and 2 are adopted. It is the most rewarding experience!

So, today is day 9... and i was rather shocked when i plonked Joey on the scales! 143g!!

And here is a cute picture of him i caught :P

Haha! Probably yes! He'll be going for fattest hamster in the household award! Which my Maple currently holds... i put her on a diet she lost no weight and got very, very stroppy with me.. she is very lazy (rarely uses her 11' wheel!) and eats everything she finds and weighs in at 190g!

Awww, i'm glad Eriklover555!

It's been a few days since i updated on Joey Joe, he is such a healthy happy hamster now. He weighs in at 155g and looks beautiful.
Here is a couple of pics of him this morning in his HH cage. His hamster mummy has ordered lots of toys for all the furries from zooplus so he's rather excited.
