Hello Everyone

Its Duck here, I celebrated my 2nd birthday on the 17th October, i got spoilt with lots of presents and treats.
I now have diabetes which has been diagnosed by the vet who says i need to be put on a strict diet to cut out any sugars.
I hope all my friends are well

Lots of love

Ducky xx

Oh, how wonderful that Duck is still going strong. Flakeyflake, you did a great thing taking Duck in when he needed you. Pinkneon was really lucky you were there for them both. Your updates are are really appreciated. I do hope Pinkneon is okay.

Hey all. Just wanted to let you know that a while ago Duck went to the rainbow bridge - I'm not sure on the date exactly as I wasn't with him. Hadn't realised that flakeyflake was the new name of slavetodaisy so have only just caught up with Duck's old thread! I am so incredibly greatful to her for looking after him so well I know he was a very happy boy.
I am officially being discharged on 15th April, though have been unofficially discharged already - meaning the official date is where they sign all the paperwork. The unofficial discharge is kind of like a trial period, either at home or staying with relatives. I am doing so well now though! I am waiting for housing back in my hometown, but it's taking a while as I was moved out of area whilst I was in hospital, and therefore there is a lot of complicated paperwork and referrals to be done. I will remain with my family until suitable accommodation has been found. In the meantime I have a lot of catching up to do with the world, as time seems to stop when you are in hospital.
Anyway, once again thanks to flakeyflake for taking Ducky in and looking after him He couldn't have asked for a better foster mommy!

It is lovely to hear from you pinkneon and also the good news that you are out of hospital. I hope things work out well and you enjoy better health in the future.
Duck had a wonderful life and lived to a good age and you were responsible in letting Duck be taken care of by such a lovely person.
Keep in touch and let us know how things are going with you.
