INTRODUCING MIYA !!!!!!

Hi

at last I managed to get a few photos of my new Syrian - Miya.

I bought her just over a week ago - and shes adorable, starting to build a good bond with her, and shes feeding from my hand. Shes so fluffy and cute, I believe she is about 8 weeks old. Sorry they are a bit fuzzy as she wouldnt keep very still.
Does anybody know the name for her colouring/markings?

Miyas cage is at the bottom , and Truffle and Treacle (my mice) are at the top.

Aww she is a sweetie, such a cute face with that white blaze. Miya is a black dominant spot by the looks of her - they always have that blaze of white on their faces.

can I ask - had you just cleaned the cage out, or do I just have very scruffy hamsters? My cages dont stay like that for longer than 5 minutes

yes I had just cleaned her cage - wont stay like that for long though lol

So she is a black dominant spot then? cool, at least I know what type of hamster I have now.
glad you all thinl shes very pretty - she has a very 'girlie@ attitude about her, when shes on my hand, she walks ever so daintily, and we are getting a good bond together.

Hi Fran hun aww bless Mya is so lovely and very cute. Lol that is strange my Mya is a black Dom spot aswell. You didn't get her from P@H by any chance did you? I got my Mya from P@H and she is 12 weeks now if you did they might be related somewhere hehe.

I like you cage aswell.

I actually bought Miya from a reputable pet shop in Preston City Centre, of whom the breeder is very good who supplies to them.

She cost me £6.50 - and worth every penny!!

I did go to P@H and they wouldnt let me handle any of the hamsters, I found this annoying as you obviously want to handle the hamster first before you purchase, yet they were saying oh we shouldnt really get them out. I said to the guy - how do you expect people to buy your animals if you cant let people handle them?
strange..
anyway Miya is fab!!! I get her about 7pm every day after I come home from work.
