Ruby comes onto my hand!

Ruby has learnt in one night to step onto my hand to be lifted out of the cage
Tonight she was there and i put my hand in the cage and she came and stepped on it and sat calmly while i lifted her out of the cage. Then she sat on my arm and i stroked her and kissed her. She is so lovely.

Sounds as though you and Ruby have really bonded.

she seems to like me. if i put her on my mum or dad she looks back at me like "mamma, who's this?"
She only sits still for a few seconds at a time though so i get my cuddles in quick before she trots off.
She's grown one long hair on her bum
She is mad for her ball. She runs faster than the others and she shunted big Oscar all down the room!

I knew she'd be a tame one Bunsey - from the minute she hopped out onto my lap when I fed her on Saturday night - she didn't even know me! She's a beauty and lucky to be so loved

Thats good news Bunsey - I think that basia spent a lot of time telling her all about her new Mummy and what a wonderful life she was going to have so she just knew all about you when she came home

my mum said maybe she could sense that the other hams were happy, because she seemed to settle down very quickly when the other hams woke up and came out for cuddles.

She seems to be freezing in her ball when the lads sniff at her tonight
