Default Lilac hamsters

anyone got any experience of this colour? I've got three babies in the nest that I'm thinking COULD be lilacs it's entirely possible but I'm just not sure. Has anyone got any pictures of young lilacs or any clue as to what these babies could be? dad is cinnimon mum is a dove tort (I think) they are getting an agouti pattern and have red/ruby eyes
hope someone has suggestions because I'm baffled lol
thanks in advance
P.S. I am trying to get pictures but they are terrors for staying still

well lilac is dark grey and cinnamon ami_j and it would be lovely if they were. Is it possible that both Mum and Dad carry dark grey?

Lilacs are stunning - dont know how young it is but there is one on the scorpio syrians site, I'm sure she wont mind me posting it here

I was looking for lilacs and smoke pearl girls recently and have my smoke pearl coming but no luck on the lilacs so if you do have some you are very lucky.

hmmmm their colour is still pale ish they look a pale blue I think it's really hard to tell with them being so pale. it's definatley possible as I was told their grandmother was a lilac and I guess it's not impossible for the dad to carry dark grey he's a pet shop hammy so he could I really don't know. can't think what else they could be there definately seems to be a grey/maybe blue tinge

A young lilac will be a lot less brown than that photo - they can brown very quickly sadly.
A youngster is much greyer with a lilacy bloom.

Hmm, no, not darker - just browner - and that is not a good thing!! A good lilac should not go too brown. If they are very pale then sadly they are not lilac!
