I got a new adopted hammy I have posted pics
Hi everyone
Today I went to P@H and they had a lovely syrian in their adoption centre I just had to have him I felt really sorry for him. He is brown golden face with white and a stripe down his back not sure of colour at the mo. His story is that he is nervous and is noisy makes alot of noise so he couldn't be sold because of this so was up for adoption.
They had named him Noddy but I am going to change his name. I have decided to called him after looking up african names on the net I am going to call him Kumi which means forceful.
Will start handling him tommorow.
Will let you know how handling goes aswell as what I name him.

Good luck with your new hammie. I wouldn't be able to resist either.

Kumi sounds like a real character and I am sure you will soon have gained his confidence and have him settled and tamed. Looking forward to seeing him and hearing all about him. Lovely name you have chosen

Hi All
Thank you so much for all your lovely replies. If anyone can bring Kumi round I can. In P@H the staff said to me and mum he couldn't be going to a better home which I thought was really nice of them.
Theodore lol have stepped away hehe.
ad36 thanks for that Kumi is my first and not likely to be my last. I think from now one mum and I will either breed them ourselves or rescue hammies as I know there are many unwanted/unloved ones out there.
Souffle thanks I wanted an african name and google came up with a good website for names.
I will definatly take some piccies asap when Kumi comes round.
Will keep you all informed.
Thanks again everyone
Sarah x
