A hamster complaint!

My mommy keeps taking photos of me. Not just one or two, but LOADS. I wash myself - she takes photos, I eat - she takes photos, I sleep - she takes photos, I sit there - she takes photos! It is SOOOOOO annoying! Why why why does she have to keep doing that? I mean, I know I'm so sweet and all that but you know, a girl's gotta have some me-time ... Right????!

Oh and I'm never allowed to chew on carpets or pillows. They are so much fun to chew on, and like, soooooooo interesting! She just doesn't get that!

Annnnnd I want to play all night but mommy puts me back after cuddles and playing and tells me that she needs to "relax, if not sleep" and I need to be a "good girl". I don't want to be a good girl. I just want mommy to play with me ALL the time! That's not too much to ask is it ...?!

Humans eh?! Silly creatures!

I am going to bed now before mommy catches me on her laptop! Feel free to voice your complaints here too!

Hey Belle, it's Sunnie! My mommy just put me to bed too!!!!! She told me to have fun. Ha! I have the most fun when I can play with her or in my pink ball. I ALWAYS try to climb out of the top of my cage. I figure, I might as well keep trying, ya never know when the cage may shrink or I may grow to be a GIANT HAM! But, since I haven't been acting like myself lately, Mommy's been letting me sleep in HER room... which means... I get to keep her up all night with my noisy wheel! YESSSSS!! I LOVE it!!!

Hi Sunnie, I hear your complaint ... My advice would be to just keep her awake! I am usually very quiet for my mommy even though she doesn't usually sleep much at night time but today I feel like playing all the time! I just posted some photos of me playing - but shhhh don't tell mommy!

You know what really annoys me? When they don't let you go where you want ... I was 'sploring and mommy stopped me because she said I mustn't go down the side of her bed because I might "get hurt" or "get stuck" ... I only want to see what's down there! And I won't get stuck because I am not that silly!

I feel you on that one, Belle!!!! My mom won't let me go close to the edge of her bed since her sheets are slippery... satin or something? I love to peek off the edge of her bed and she makes me leave! ANNOYING! I only slid off ONCE! It's like I'm only 1 month old or something! Guess I'll annoy HER tonight with my wheel.

I know right?! And she calls me a "big girl" but then treats me like a baby??? What is that about???????????

My mom calls me her big girl too! She sure does NOT act like that!!!! Oh moms.... gotta love em! Well gotta go my wheel is calling and I think I smelled grapes tonight!!!!! I will see ya around Belle we should be friends!! I don't have any HC friends yet!

Wow, you guys are lucky! Mummy doesn't get me out after about 9-10pm because she has to go to something called 'bed' at eleven. Hahaha, Mummy thinks I don't understand human time. Oh I do, I do I do I doooo!

My mummy puts me back after cuddles and play too. And she bought this new playpen thing so I could do exploring on the floor and I climbed out and she put me straight back in! How can I explore if she puts me in a playpen? I should get to explore the WHOLE room, it's my room too mummy!
AND even though she says I'm a big girl now and says I have a big bum, she still calls me Fudgey and Fudgey-Wudge and Fudgey-Boo and lots of other names that are bigger than my name.
And she hasn't bought me a new toy for ages

She says maybe for this thing called Christmas or when I'm 6 months I can have a thing called a present.
I can't stay mad at mummy for too long though, she buys me lots of nice treats and now it's cold she puts lots more bedding in my house to snuggle into.

Hello pretty girl hamsters, it's Basil here. I'm a mature ham of the world and think I have my mum pretty well trained. If I want snuggles or treats I sit by my door quietly.... then stare with my puppy dog face (including droopy ears). It works every time

I am still upset about the time I smelled something interesting under the sofa cushions so shimmied down to take a peek. Guess what I found - a forgotten biscuit! Nom! Mum soon scooped me out and next playtime the biscuit was gone

No fair - I found it!
