Default My Hamsters (pic heavy)

I ahve been here for a while now, but never introduced my lovely girls.

here is Willow (who is now a year old!)

she is a complete nutter, ninja hamster who has a opinion about everything and really lets you know when she is annoyed, much squeaking and foofing!
(I always feel so mean when I laugh at her... )

Willow has a HUGE personality and is always into everything, will walk off the edge of anything you put her on - so she mostly goes in her run (which she can climb out of) she loves running around in the bathroom but does attack the carpet ( and i do mean attack squeaking kicking and everything ) she is completely lovely, not cuddly but has never bitten badly. she did bite my favourite Vet badly but generally spends her time hoarding food and making the biggest nest ever.

( I know her cage looks really bare, but everything i put in she has chewed and pulled down by the end of the week! when you see Tab's cage you will see what I mean! )

and now for Tabitha

Tabs is a rescue hamster from Birmingham. On the train home back to London I thought she died of fright since she didn't move from Rugby onwards. thankfully she hadn't.

She is the most docile animal I have ever owned. she looks half asleep most of the time and the rest of the time she is asleep! she bimbles about and doesn't mind being held, she never bites ever, despite the vet being really mean to her to look at her teeth which are wonky. here she is!

crikey that's a lot of pictures! Thanks for looking

(sorry some of the tabitha ones are out of focus - she doesn't come out as much as Willow)

They are both lovely hamsters. They all have their individual characters and traits, don't they?
Your cages are fantastic, they must be happy in there.

They may have totally different personalities, but they are both beautiful!
Great photos, and great hamsters, I think it shows you really know and love your hamsters to be able to correctly assess their needs and wants and respond by altering their cages accordingly!

Wow, what great little animals - and what work you've done with their cages, to make sure they're right for the little chaps!

Am very impressed!

I can really relate to Willow's "walking on the edge" inclinations - I'm often to be found diving to the rescue of my own hamsters!
