is my rescue hammy in a way because he wasn't wanted by one of my friends so I took him in. He was rather nervous at first at any handling and now he is much better and enjoys exploring my room and other places in the house. He likes to be held too but he is a bit of an adventurer. :P He's obviously a long haired syrian. :P



Roronicus Pondicus (Rory)
Birthday-11th October
was my christmas present from my boyfriend and I love her to pieces. (Yes I know she has a boys name, originally I was convinced she was a girl and then I couldn't bring myself to change it. XD)
She used to be very moody and not want to be held, she is my little houdini hamster who had managed to escape her old cage (which she is in in this picture as I don't have any recent photos of her) about three/four times before I got her a different cage. She isn't much of an explorer she prefers to make a nest in the hood of whatever jumper I'm wearing and climb down my sleeve and get stuck. :P

They have the strangest sleeping patterns sometimes. They like to just wake up at random times. Nocturnal my butt. XD I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and they had been active in the evening before I went to sleep and they've just gone back to bed. :P

He is definitely out of my two the easiest to handle. Rory is a bit more picky with who she lets hold her. So far she has only really taken to me and my boyfriend. XD

Ignore how horribly stupid I look. Haven't been sleeping well. Funnily enough it's not due to my two babies. I can sleep right through their night activities. It's when they're being quiet I can't sleep. XD

Enough about me. It's Roronicus! I know it seems like I'm holding her a little tight but I wasn't I was just trying to keep her still in front of the camera. XD

Thanks. It's not staying this colour for long it's really expensive to keep pink. XD I do like it though. :3
