Re: One red eye and one black eye??
It isn't uncommon when you mix the cinnamon gene with a pattern. They eyes will be one very dark red and one more pinky red. She is likely either a Red eyed cream dominant spot or a Cinnamon dominant spot. Looking forward to pics.

Re: One red eye and one black eye??
I had a hamster with one red eye and one black (Ruby), sadly she passed away early last month.
Here is a picture of her:

Very pretty though! I knew a child once that had blue eyes but one eye had a brown square in it.

Re: One red eye and one black eye??
She looks a lot like my Honey bear did, and she was a long haired mink.
Honey Bear has since passed.
Also, its a genetic mutation. So if your ham has it, they are technically a mutant ham.

Re: One red eye and one black eye??
This is Hamsterdam, Hammy for short. image.jpgHe has one black eye and one red eye too and I just wanted to share this with you guys because he is the coolest hamster in the world! This picture was taken under a flash. His red eye is not as fluorescent as it looks in this picture. I will post one of him under normal lighting. I just wanted to share him because we think he is so special, just like yours.
