Aww they're absolutely gorgeous! I loved the bit where Bailey picked her babies up and took them back to her nest. She looked so mumsy bustling around looking after them all!!

Great video!

Awwwww, what a lovely video. I liked the sound track too. I think she deserves a night out looking after all those babies so well. x

Thanks everyone

Bailey is already getting annoyed, they just won't let her rest, they want to play, they keep biting her ears when she tries to sleep and all 10 have taken up squatters rights in her Igloo

They are doing really well, growing so fast that last film is out of date already....

I knocked up a quickie vid to show how much they have grown this week, I do like my video camera, and they like to play fight :P

On a bad note, I have had a couple of homes for them drop out this weekend, very disappointed, still have bookings for a few though, fingers crossed. I'm getting cynical in my old age!!
If I say I want a Hamster then I get it, maybe its just me but its a bit naughty really....

Looks like a semi full house unless any one wants one on here....?? I tried! LOL

My goodness Bailey really has her hands full with those scamps!
They have grown so much since the last video - and look beautifully chunky and rounded.
I can understand your frustration over the 'drop outs' I think it is something that happens quite regularly, people say yes and then have time to re-think. But SM, it is best for your pups to go to homes that really really will want them. I'm sure you will get new homes for them.
If we weren't planning a couple of litters shortly I would certainly be on the list (with no chance of dropping out lol). Let's hope all the litter have wonderful owners, and wonderful life-long homes soon.

Do you go on Hamster Heaven at all? They have a For Sale/Rehoming/Wanted section and I know Basia found two lovely homes with two experienced hamster owners via that. You'd obviously need to be a bit discerning about who you allow to take them...

Gosh they've come on well. A nice even litter and I think they have lovely heads.
I know how you feel about being let down, it happened to me with Runty and a sable female last time. In fact I ended up keeping Runty because he had 2 prospective homes who changed their minds.
I did put a notice on Hamster Heaven and I also advertised the babies in my local paper. When people rang up I practically interrigated them and made them bring their cage with them to collect the hamsters.

Yes, I do have a Hamster Heaven account, haven't been on in ages though, maybe I will post a message on there. I was looking into advertising on Pet Website, its something silly like £2.50 for a month which is not bad. Of course not just anyone will get one, I want some level of competence or else I'll just keep them. Its just really frustrating when you have homes and then they pull out at the last minute.

They are all doing very well, suddenly they are mad to be held and when I open the cage door I get 10 babies come running at me for cuddles, mum just wants to escape full stop!
