Thanks guys - I'm smitten!
I've had her out a couple of times for a few minutes at a time and she's behaving herself
She's a little skittish, but no biting or bolting etc.

keep up the good work
and don't be scared if she does give you a nip she doesn't mean it maliciously
I am sure you don't need told take it slow and steady and you will get a happier, friendlier hamster in the end.
