Default Simon!

This is Simon.

Simon is a 5 month old banded Syrian. When she was about a month old she escaped her cage and got into my roomate's hair dye and ended up hot pink.

It was really bright then but it's faded significantly now.

She likes hanging out on my laptop when I want to type something. At least she's too light to push any keys.

When I get the camera out she likes to either move around too much for me to get a shot off, or pose for me:

Here we are the day of the dye incident, after a thorough rinsing off to prevent the eating of debatably nutritious pink hair dye:

She makes effective use of the other residents of the house:

More posing:

I should remember to use "Close-up" mode on the camera next time.

More to come!

Aww she's gorgeous. Not so sure about the pink though lol

Are those cedar woodshavings in the last picture? If so they're dangerous and you're better off changing to another bedding (like Carefresh, Aspen shavings etc..cos I think your in the USA because we generally don't get cedar shavings in the UK, but I could be wrong?? )

Awww she is adorable and a bit of an adventure ham by the looks of things. She is a long haired sable banded. Hair dye is not a good idea and supervise closely with cats as she could have a bad accident. Looking forward to hearing more about her.

She is very cute, hopefully she didn't/won't experience any health problems from getting the hair dye on her.

Aww. she's sweet! Be careful about letting her near hair dye and other animals in the house, she could get injured.

Yes, it's cedar bark. I couldn't find anything else last time I ran out of bedding, and she's been living in it a couple weeks and doesn't seem to mind.
