If you look at my "Dalmation" as he is known in the hamstery he has quite a wide V shaped white patch on his face I think it would be nice if he had more black on his face, plus his V is not quite symmetrical.

I don't think it really matter personally how you describe your little one - I have Zebedee Boos a Male, Banded Mink, Satin, Long Haired, Syrian Hamster is how I refer to him but other days I may call him a Male Satin Banded Mink Long Haired Syrian Hamster, or Male Banded Satin Mink Syrian Hamster, or Male Long Haired Satin Banded Mink Syrian Hamster or Male Long Haired Banded Satin Mink Syrian Hamster etc... Anyway you put it - it is a bit of a mouthful

It is only when writing out his genotypes (listings of genetic code) that they go in a particular order! By convention the genes are listed in alphabetical order.

I think Honey - what colour is the base of her fur? Babyboos would be better at this than me!

Default Cinnamon

Looks like a Cinnamon Banded Short Haired Syrian Hamster though no idea what recessives may be hidden unless you know any of her family?

Nora was the colour of honey or caramel. Grissom as you can see is a cream colour with gray ears and he has a white belly.

Enjoying looking at all these other photos! Well, other than Nibbles heres two of my older ones...

first was Whiskey - he was one of the rarer Ruby-eyed Fawns, a male also, which made him sterile. He was the best! The nicest temperament you ever met.

Then there was Fudge, just like Nibbles - a long-haired cream banded, but female.

I also had a Cambels called Smudge and I also adopted our school hamster which was a typical golden syrian (Unfortunately I can not remember his name now).

Coloring wise I loved Whiskey, such a rich color, but do love the soft looking creams also

I'm off to the vets with her tomorrow, her breathing seems fast and she's drinking alot of water, I need to rule out an infection.

I'll post some pics of all my furballs very soon.

Look forward to meeting Rosie

You need to find a fancy breeder for these types I’m sure...

I want one if they ever find a purple hamster

I have had loads of Dark Golden (including longhaired), Dove, Black Eyed Cream (in longhaired and banded), Cinnamon (which I am positive Dylan is, if he's not apologies).

I would love to have a Black, Ivory, Chocolate, or another Cream again.

Who knows what will come my way in the rescue.
