Where do I get one?
I'm planning to eventually get a hamster. I've developed a fondness of syrian hammies, and I want to know where I can find one. There aren't any in my local petsmart, and there are no breeders nearby.
Can anyone offer some help?

uhm if you have something similar gumtree or preloved (2nd hand sites but they have animals on them) then you could check there ;D

I think that the US version of gumtree is Kijiji? Im not too sure though

Where are you located? I am in the US and am a breeder, and know many other breeders as well. Maybe I could help.

@Winterbell: I'm in the US, and I'll be in GA by the time I will be able to get a hamster. I am currently in VA though.
@Debbie: I have not. I'll see if I can go tomorrow, or this weekend.

what does GA mean? Anywyas def try ur local rescues, ebayclassifieds is like the us version of kijiji. Where people will post ads of animals they are looking for new homes for will definetly find somethign there. eBay Classifieds (Kijiji) - Post & Search Free Local Classified Ads., or craigslist maybe?

Hamstertail, I live in Tennessee but travel to both Georgia and Virgina as a have family and or friends in both locations.

@Winterbell: Really? That'd be great! Although, I'd have to ask how long you're planning to keep up breeding business, I may have to wait 2 or 3 years before I can get a ham! |D
