Thank you! He seems happy in there and is fine with me spot cleaning....as long as i put everything back exactly the way it was.

Scottie wanted out and almost climbed out of his cage!

He's zooming around the playground now, he's into everything and enjoying himself.
Scottie went back in his taxi when he wanted home and just sits in there now without trying to jump up the sides.

I'm amazed at this little Robo. He's grown so much in confidence to ask for out of cage time.

Oh how wonderful! He has really blossomed in your care. It is lovely you actually asked to come out.

I did wonder last night if he would actually climb out of his cage.
This morning he demonstrated that yes, he would!

He came to his door so i opened it. He sniffed at me so i went to stroke him...and he jumped out!

Wow! Scottie has become so much more confident. It is like him sulking with you made him ponder. He realised he actually does not have it so bad and has decided to embrace it.

Yes, in an unpredictable Robo fashion.

He legged it across the bedroom floor so i tried to scoop him up but he was too fast. So i guided him out towards the hall with my forearms on the floor and quickly closed all the doors while grabbing a towel to close the toilet/hall door gap. I knew he would head for shelter, either behind the bathroom bin or the hall shoe rack. Scottie turned right for the shoe rack so i got his mug and caught him.

It was my own stupid fault and i should have known better than to try and stroke him. I forgot momentarily that Scottie is a Robo and Robos first reaction is to run when faced with something spooky like a human hand from above.

I do not think you did any harm in trying. I do not know if you know a youtube channel called rachel got hamsters. She only has dwarf hamsters. I saw one video were her robo is relaxing and happily letting her stroke him. It was worth a try.

It sounds like Scottie had quite the adventure.

Yes but to attempt stroking him while he was at an open cage door was pretty stupid. The bedroom is not a room i have hamster proofed either.

I rarely watch youtube videos nowadays. Not too keen on them because i don't know how genuine they are. Youtubers show what they want people to see but what and how long did it take to get there.

I know what you mean about youtube. I only watch 3, cosmic, victoria and rachel got hamsters.
