my hamsters bottom smells like marmite

Hi there i recently got a new female syrian hamster (i’ve had her for less than two weeks) and i noticed her bottom smells like marmite? or vegemite? i’m not sure what it means she’s completely healthy and bonded with me within a week she has no other health issues i’m just wondering whether she’s on heat? it’s just she frequently smells like it i just want to make sure she is okay i lost my last hamster at 6 months and i can’t bear to loose her either

This is a normal smell for a female usually when she is in heat. The scent would attract male hamsters.
Some people are very sensitive to this smell and some don't notice it at all!
