Favorite Species?
What is your absolute favorite of the hamster species'? I personally adore syrians because of their size and I've found based on my personal experience that they are much more lovey and easier for me to tame ! Although, I love them all <3

Re: Favorite Species?
I haven't been able to make up my mind.
I have two Syrians, three dwarfs and a Robo but think it's more a matter of personality rather than species.
Even then couldn't decide who is my favourite because they are all so different.

Re: Favorite Species?
I have always loved syrian hamsters, and I never thought much of the other type of hamster species, but then something changed... now I have a robo, and I think I will always have 1 syrian and 1 other hamster species. I also think like Ria, it's their little personalities that I love, but I am quite partial to a chunky syrian with big ears who am I kidding, I love them all

Re: Favorite Species?
I find it far too difficult to say any exact species is my favorite as they're all just so wonderful in their own way. That being said, I'm extremely partial to Chinese hamsters and hybrids - Chinese because of their very unique appearance compared to other hamster species and hybrids because if I'm being honest they make me think of furry potatoes!

Re: Favorite Species?
For me it has to be the two species that my Hamstery specialises in and that is the Chinese and the Roborovski.
The two species couldn't be further apart but I really feel that I get the best of both world with them. My Chinese are laid-back and intelligent and often snuggle up in my jumper whilst I tell them all about my day whereas my Robos are such clowns that sometimes I swear that watching them is better than watching the TV. They're cute, they're silly and they often make me laugh.
