Default Suggestions On Making Room Smell Good

I wasnít really sure where to post this thread but is there any way to make your room smell nice that isnít dangerous to a hamster. My hamsters bin cage is in my room and it kind of smells (not of fecies or anything like that) it just smells like hamster. Is there any way to make your room smell nice thatís hamster safe, because I know stuff like air fresheners ect arenít safe. Thanks - Luke

I don't think there is anything really, hamsters have a much better sense of smell than we do so anything that smells quite mild to you will be stronger for them.
Any sprays, essential oils etc are definitely out so I'm not really what else you could safely use.

What bedding does your hamster have? Some are much more absorbant than others. And I'd stick with what cypher said. I've moved my deodorant and perfume from my bedroom to the bathroom so I don't forget and put it on in there around Hesper's tiny nose!

I asked this a couple years ago and Drago suggested baking soda. Definitely NOT IN the cage, but an open box of it outside the cage. I had one close to the cage and one at the entrance of my apartment. I bought new boxes every month or two. It worked to eliminate odors without bothering Zoey.
