Exclamation worried about my hamster

im not sure if she is just being a picky eater lately but ive been mixing two different foods for my russian hamster (white mill pure and higgins sunburst) which she enjoyed a lot and hoarded a lot before i did a spot cleaning. I didnt move any of her hoard but ive noticed that she has gotten more picky and has little to no hoards now when she used to have at least 4 of them. theyve all disappeared. im going to stop feeding her everyday so she isnt so picky but has anybody ever experienced this? im worried that something may be wrong but im not sure if its from her new found picky eating or sickness.

Are you scatter-feeding? If so maybe switch to a food dish for a week to monitor how much your ham takes.

Hi! yes i use a food dish and i also scatter feed half of the food. Its my first night of not refilling it (waiting for the dish food to be gone) and shes really uninterested in it unless i put the dish in front of her for her to grab only a few and walk away. I have noticed her starting to hoard again but i guess shes just getting picky.
