Default Help- hamster escaped any advice please

Hi, my 16 month syrian hamster escaped last night.live in UK. We have a small hole in bedroom floorboards in built in cupboard where the old boiler was remove and the pipes stick out.some how Mia got out of her cage and under the cupboard door, we could hear her running around the upstairs bedroom floorboards. I have put her open cage on the floor in front of the cupboard, made it dark and quiet, put out food and water near the hole. I have put a bit of strong smelling cheese near the hole as well as mealworm and her normal food. I am going to get some peanut butter as well. I am distraught. Is there anything else I can do or other strong smelling food I can use, also is cheese ok to use.
Any advice very gratefully received
