Please is this normal?
Hi guys
My syrian hamster ive had him around 2months and hes had these bald spots for about 1 month now

Those are your hamsters scent glands and they look quite normal. They spread the scent round the cage by rubbing them around it and they can look wet or greasy especially if you clean the cage too much. Just do spot cleans and do a full or even half clean about once a month or so.

Hi thanks first time with male syrian normally had female Syrians and never noticed on female ones.

Females tend to be less obvious in the amount of scent they secrete I'd say though they often do it after a cage clean and can be more rubby around than males I've noticed.
