Bringing the little one home?

I have found a trusty breeder and i cant wait to get my dwarf hamster from him only problem is , he lives 30 minutes away! Its already enough stress being moved from her/his cage ( that they will have lived in there whole life ) but them traveling for half a hour! i know that they get stressed very easily. I already have a travel case with a good amount of bedding and i am planning to bring a blanket so i could drape it over to cover her/him from the stressful surroundings? I really need help with this so any help would be great
