Lovely balls
Can anyone recommend a ball for a syrian to run in which won't fall apart easily? I got one from P@H today but I'll be taking it back tomorrow as it has 2 lids which both slide off really easily.
Thank you all

Re: Lovely balls
I use the P@H one too. They're a nightmare to put together (I thought so anyway) so once they're together they're pretty secure Make sure you twist the door shut fully though, the first time I used mine, I didn't and Fudge pushed it open xD

Re: Lovely balls
Haha I also got a ball from P@H yesterday, took it back today thinking they'd sold me to sides that wouldn't fit together. Turns out it DOES fit together, it just 3 staff members to sort it out!

Re: Lovely balls
I certainly hope that someone, somewhere, develops a safer, more secure ball for our furry pets. Until then, this is what I do. Once the ball is snapped together I crazy glue (only on the outside) the ball around the center where the two halves meet. I don't let the hammys use them until about a day or two, and then I wash it thouroughly before they use it. Also, since I have had hammys wandering around after the door opens by itself, I now put two small pieces of scotch tape on either side of the door once my hammy is inside. It comes off easily and in about 2 seconds when playtime is done. I haven't had a mishap since.

Re: Lovely balls
The pets at home one, you have to twist and then twist it harder so it clicks! We took mine back because we thought the lid didnt fit but it turns out I hadnt done the second click bit
