Re: Ickle Mickle! ; )
Thanks Bec & CB.
Good news today
She's finally eating again & acting much more like her usual self.
She's lost 10g, 5 in the week she was on antibiotics & another 5 in the last 4 days which has been really worrying but she's tucking into some food again now so hopefully she at least maintain her weight.
I think those antibiotics really knocked her for six poor girl but she's really picking herself up again bless her
Still taking things one day at a time but feeling a lot more positive now.

Recently, every time I see there's been an update to Mickle's thread, my heart goes in mouth a little. So glad to see this morning it's a step forward

Re: Ickle Mickle! ; )
I so loved that video, I so love her, she's such a determined little lady. Those blooming antibiotics and the side effects, so worrying for you. So happy to read Mickle's got her appetite back. I know she isn't mine but, I'm so proud of her.

Re: Ickle Mickle! ; )
That's really good news especially if there is a reason for the loss of weight. Now to put some weight back on.

Re: Ickle Mickle! ; )
Thanks everyone.
She's still doing much better, eating a bit more of her usual food now (not just lettuce!) & drinking, sleeping a lot but who can blame her!
She hasn't had much of an appetite for some time really but was maintaining her weight ok, I think it was just the antibiotics that stopped her eating at all so hopefully she'll do better now, I put some chopped walnut in her bowl & she found that quick enough & she's been taking the odd bit of cat kibble back to bed with her, not the ideal diet but it's a start

Re: Ickle Mickle! ; )
Ickle Mickle's looking very frail now, mostly sleeping, she still doesn't seem distressed at all or appear to be in pain so I hope I'm doing right by my little one just keeping her warm & comfortable.
She's climbed out onto my hand three times today, with a little help as she finds it a bit of a struggle now, which seems like a sign that I am, it was nice to have a little cuddle with her if only for a short while each time, I'd like to hold her close all the time but I know that's not her style so I just made her house a bit more comfy & settled her back in her nest.
Still lost interest in food really but she managed some sunflower sprouts, took the trouble of peeling & eating them so she must have thought they were worthwhile bless her.
I know we won't have long so treasuring every little moment.
I got her a little present too.

That's is so nice! Never saw something like that before. Creative, you must love her lots & lots of course! Glad she isn't in any pain! Hopefully it will stay that way! Nice to get cuddles in, even if they are however brief...
