About the same then. Is that cheaper or more expensive than a glass tank? Although a tank is much heavier of course and less flexible.

I would say that if you get a used tank, it's cheaper but brand new the aquariums are more expensive per square inch. Plus tanks are really meant for observing fish so their dimensions are not ideal for hamsters, imo.

Having an aquarium myself, I never liked how heavy they were and they were longer but less wide. I think I prefer the wider dimensions of the Nite Angel cages.
