Following on from what Ria said, porridge is good and they can also have the plain oats which is less messy. Anything wet or that goes stale quickly, feed with them.

Mine used to sit on my lap while I had dinner and she’d have hers at the same time. That way you can see them eat and make sure they have a variety.

Mealworms are also high in protein and very cheap.

If they are underweight, seeds can also be a good choice as they are high in fat, however, don’t overfeed. Just like us, we can eat fatty foods to a certain amount and our body will process it, but when eating too much it just goes on as fat and can be stored causing heart conditions. So don’t overfeed seeds, if they don’t have any in their diet currently this would help though.

Also my hamster LOVED pancakes, so try this as well maybe?

Keep in mind hamsters are normally creatures of habit, so if ever they do store food it’s almost always the same place in the cage so just check it once in a while when you spot clean.
