She hasn't been totally nameless these past weeks. Her breeder gave her a nickname "Muncee", short for "Munchie", which is short for "Munchkin", I think because she was the smallest and daintiest in the litter.

Munchkin is my nickname for Orko.

Re: My gerbils
Aww, Wispa is such a little cutie!
I don't know anything about gerbils and only found out the other day that they live for 3-5 years which surprised me. I always thought they had a similar life expectancy to hamsters.

Closer to 3 years nowadays as they don't seem to live as long as they used to, but still longer than hamsters. I believe hamsters might have lived longer in the past as well.
One of my childhood gerbils lived about 4.5 years. This was about 10 years ago. My most recent 5 gerbils have died at 2 years 11 months, 3 years 1 month, 2.5ish (not sure of her exact age), 2 years 10 months, and 3 years 2 months.

Re: My gerbils
What a beautiful girl. Glad they have bonded. Sounds a lot easier than my rabbits!
