Default Cage Stand Crisis

I want to get some opinions on keeping a glass tank enclosure on a certain piece of furniture.

The enclosure is basically a 40 breeder tank(roughly 3 ft x 1.5 ft, weighing around 44 pounds) and the furniture is the Target equivalent of the Ikea Kallax 4 cube unit except with a higher weight capacity and it happens to be slightly different in size but regardless the weight capacity for that is 55 pounds for the top shelf area alone. The chances of somehow going above that capacity with everything added to the enclosure are basically nonexistent.

Just going by the weight it should be fine, but does anyone think it would be an issue to have around 3 inches of overhang in length on each side and around 1.7 inches of overhang in width?
